The photovoice assingment focused on how commuting affects us and our experience with school and studies, and it made me realize that commuting is more than just getting from one place to another. It becomes part of your daily routine and can shape how you feel, think, and perform academically. Long commutes can be physically exhausting, especially early in the morning or after a long day, and this can affect focus, motivation, and energy levels during classes or while studying. At the same time, commuting can also create moments of reflection, where you have time to think, reset, or mentally prepare for the day. Through this assignment, I started to see how something that feels so normal and repetitive actually has a strong impact on students’ emotional and academic lives, influencing stress levels, time management, and even how connected we feel to the university experience. I had so much fun taking pictures and moments for this assignment!
